More About Lauren
After her geography degree, Lauren didn’t know what to do. A careers advisor introduced her to a construction company, she did some work experience, and the rest is history.
Since starting in construction, Lauren’s noticed the number of women has continued to grow, which is something she is really passionate about.
You get fit on site! These days she walks over 10,000 steps a day and lifts heavy equipment with no problem (it was tough at the start).
Lauren's always loved wearing pretty clothes, so her family were fascinated by her decision to work in construction. But the truth is, this job can suit all kinds of people.
She relaxes by playing the piano in the evenings, and catching up with friends.
