More About Verse

  • By the end of Verse's graduate apprenticeship, he’ll have four years of work experience, a good grounding in engineering theory, and he'll be able to apply for higher level jobs.

  • He loves seeing what people can create when they pull together on a construction site. It's rewarding knowing that he's left his mark on a project which will impact other people’s lives.

  • His apprenticeship is full-time, but on Fridays he does coursework at home or in the library. It’s the one day of the week he doesn’t have to wake up at 6am – not your average student.

  • Graduate apprentices earn £17,000 - £22,000 a year. Verse’s salary could rise by £10,000 a year when he graduates.
